I really hope the Livboy can wear wigs, otherwise what's the point.
I also really hope he's as articulated as the Livs are.
Or BETTER. 8D

Livboy probably will not be out until after the holidays but some of the Liv dolls are going to be only $10 on Black Friday at Target!

Some Liv Girls are $10 on Target.com right now so you don't have to battle at the stores, and the Barbie camera is disgustingly low.

Check all the retailers' web sites because they're having a price war on toys.

*Buy $50 of Barbies get a free rolling tote is still on at my local TRU along with buy 2 Bratz get 1 free. Some things like Highschool Musical are please please please buy one.

One of the Barbie Basics accessories packs has fishnets but the fit is funky for Obitsu and Volks girls. Looks like they have a shoe pack if you can find it. No signs of the guys yet.

As for the Liv Boy, I heard from a friend that Spin Master wasn't planning on using wigs for him. v_v; I was vastly disappointed when I heard that, but maybe they've changed their mind since then. I'm a little more disappointed that beyond Teahoshi's screen capture, I can't find anything to confirm that "Jake" is even official.

I'll keep an ear to the ground about it.

I just assumed he would have the same kinda molded hair and you could whack the female wigs on for hilarity and hijinks.

Definitely need us some male dolls in the playline...

Back on the subject of the new head swapping fashionistas...

Also, this same mechanism seems to be identical to this: http://www.amazon.com/My-Scene-Swappin- ... B0006FZ9BY I picked one up recently, so if I can get my hands on the new fashionista, I will see if these might be interchangeable. I would also like to note the body's posabillity isn't quite as good as you loose the torso joint (which i didn't think worked that well), but is otherwise identical. Also, the new barbie fashionistas with the swapping heads have molded bras and panties, but the original Myscene Nolee only has the panties.

Mike Mozart has a video on them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV6xssHBoDM

Good eye, I'd say the MyScene looks like the same mechanism. And you can take the head off the shoulder unit and put a different Barbie/Mattel one on. Gives possibilities if you find a mechanism with a so-so or ratty head somewhere.

Looks like FingerHut of all people have the closest thing to the dollhouse I have. It's the big 3 floors and a gabled attic monster you can get tacky pink furniture for and has complaints for reviews :P Mine survived it's first owner, coming home on the roof of the car, and all the abuse I've put it through. The only warning I'd give is keep kids from trying to climb it
