I actually already finished my prezzie, I was surprised how easy it was and how awesome it turned out. I may make something else too, but I'm not sure. I will probably end up shipping early.

Yeah, depending on how quickly I put this together, I might make two different outfits.
NOt sure though, I've never made a dress like this before... on this tiny scale anyways.

I decided to give it a try tonight and sew it together...
and it's total fail.

I think it's just to complicated to make it so small... there's alot of things that need to be done different I would guess, because it just didn't work out.
Maybe I just need to go to bed,....

I just found my missing stash of goodies...I lose things when I'm rearranging my room. So I hope to have my gift out Friday...thats if my sister don't give me that tv stand of hers then, otherwise I'll get it out next week. I'll let ya know when I'm actually able to ship it.

Walmart finally got some in but only the 2 pack. And I have no gas, or money for it to go to the other stores to see if they have the one I want.....maybe I'll get the 2 pack then...Cleo has a nice face too, so unless the Draculara shows up soon I'll be spending my saved up money on the other set.

What do you think? Should I get the 2 pack or keep trying to find Draculara? Or see if someone else could find Draculara and I pay them?

I am open to the suggestions since I'm not sure what to do. Thanks

Which BTW I've made the dress I wanted to make six times and each time was just urgh.
Although three of them are real nice, not exactly what I was going for, but I think I"m just going to send all three.

These fabrics I chooose to work with are a real hassle for something so small! I had a heck of a time with the bodice of the dress... also one of the fabrics just does't look good hemed, but it doesn't look bad un-hemed, so I'm loving it, I just hope that sending these gifts my swapy won't like... hate them. T_T

ANywys, back to you questions...
As someone who has run all around the nearby stores that carry MH dolls... I would just wait.
It's a hassle to go from store to store, you can try calling, but I've had several times where they've told me they had a specific doll and then I show up and they don't.
Alot of places, like Target and walmart, didn't want to hold the dolls for me.
Justice would hold the dolls, but they also cost like $10 more.
Now I'm just waiting till my local target stocks up.
I'm missing Clawdeen from the DOTD set, which I realllly want... but I have given up trying to run around looking for them.
They had her at my local target when I couldn't afford to get her. lol of course...
but I'm just patiently waiting now for the dolls to be readily available at my store.

I am looking around for the cutest outfits to see which will due for my partner. ^^ I have all the dolls that are out in stores. It was a long process to obtaining them but I done it. I am waiting on the Gloom Beach dolls to be released here in America because people are just plain dumb paying the outrageous prices they are going for on ebay. I think it suck they were released in only in Canada so far..

Those prices are crazy, these beach dolls are probably only like $10.
Theres apparently all kinds of dolls comming out,
including new characthers, three that are listed on wiki, and
dawn of the dance Draculaura and Ghoulia.
I can't wait!

I know, the prices break my heart. Meijer had all of the first wave for about $16 each but I wasn't interested in them and now they're all sold out except for Cleo & Deuce. At least they are reasonably enough priced that I feel fine messing with my second Deuce and making him someone else. No sure what to do with my second Cleo though. Mattel seems to be supplying female characters at a steady rate. I like to have a 1:1 female to male ratio with my dolls, but I rarely can achieve it.

Yeah I just paid like 40 bucks on eBay to get Lagoona..... I would have waited, but I want to see her under my x-mas tree..lol

I still have to get Ghoulia and Holt now. I did see a DOTD Clawdeen at a local Target, but I passed on her because I was searching for the original Clawdeen, big mistake. Strange the store wouldn't hold dolls for you, I've never had a problem with that b4. Also just so you know Target has all the wave 1 dolls under the same number, so if they don't actually phystically look in the toy isle, they will just punch it up on the comp and say they have it.

I was looking around at ppls gifts on flickr, and noticed many of you were sending more than one outfit. I have only made one so far, so I made a cute skirt today I'll be sending aswell, I hope to make a top for it too. I plan on sending my gift out next week. I figure if I send in early Dec, it has a better chance of arriving before x-mas.

Anyways I can understand the frusteration with finding the dolls...I live about a mile from a Target distribution center...I have naughty thoughts about sneaking in and making them pout more in the store..lol I know they are holding back stock to create a hype.
