I've been saying since before their national elections that the whole thing was a sham piece of political theatre intended to establish Alrich Stahl as de facto ruler of Caelia. A few folks have said that I should wait until the National Assembly convenes next week and see if they elect him Chancellor. I've pointed out the new posters and ads appearing around the country featuring images of Stahl and his peculiar, selective use of Germanic words and phrases. I've pointed out the preparations for a big victory celebration in the capital. Yet, some people still caution me to take a 'wait and see' approach."

Thank you! Like I've said previously, this is my first real attempt to create a character like this. It's been very difficult to wrap my mind around his ego-centric and Machiavellian nature. I have to admit that I'm still not quite sure where this is all going but I at least hope to be able to create a compelling character that isn't just a stereotypical cardboard cutout "mad dictator".

Thanks! I've found a good spot on my back porch where I can get some really dramatic lighting during the early afternoon this time of year. It's almost too stark for just a regular photo but it makes a good base for stuff like this. The wide horizontal top rail you see behind him makes for a good bounce card and backdrop as long as I'm careful to angle the camera and not shoot directly in to it.
