Sunrise Kata

Postby Iwa_Hoshi » Thu Mar 17, 2016 5:47 pm

Sunrise Kata. Is a series of photographs that I always wanted to do for my dolls after seeing some random guy practicing his martial arts moves, during sunrise at the bay area. The challenge was in finding a sunrise that rises late enough for me since I'm none too keen on camping overnight.

In my head is Ryu's theme song as well as the Rocky theme song.

Specifically only ended up shooting Ryu. My other dolls refuses to start work without coffee and sunset joggers couldn't wake up early for this.

Normally I only seen this reservoir park from the train or bus and had always wanted to come down here. And any sunrise along my work route is partially blocked by buildings and tall trees.

Ryu looks great! I see a training montage!

Those are some amazing photos to treasure. I admire your dedication to get up so early, but was definitely worth it.

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks, the best part was getting to see the sunrise process, from a red sliver to a full red ball. I would have to wait for next year to attempt the sea version (0715-0720 hrs) if not find a way to get to my nearest beach front in post 7am timing.
