No, and it's probably over now, the signs said 4 day sale and I don't know if any of them are open today.

*Anyone who's procrastinated on the 10 pack of princesses at the Disney store should get them today (Thanksgiving), major price reduction, promo code, free shipping. Join me in wallowing in the shame of succumbing to temptation.

Does that mean you've bought them? Will your girls get to steal their clothes?

It means I bought them, (price waaaaaay to good to pass up). There will be clothes sharing, and there will be making more clothes. Looks like my girls are more interested in playing villains. I have complex feelings about the message they send but I want the dolls.

I should have them reenact some of the things I've experienced at the park from the sweetness of a little girl trying to say Malificent to the horrors of Rapunzel's materialistic whining to her boyfriend.

I bought the swappin' styles doll I wanted during the sale on thursday. 20% off + free shipping. :o It looks like there was a monday sale (or maybe today too?) at Mattel atm but I haven't looked yet.

P.S. The regular fashionistas are only $6.89 + tax atm (free shipping).

The Box o' Princesses is in. Way to kinda cheap out on the snag if you look at them funny outfits. Rapunzel's hair is longer than her. Literally waiting for the princess to come for pictures. These are the exact same dolls as the regular posable princesses with less glittery outfits, looks like the same dolls in the boutique sets with extra outfits.

Anyone who bought the 10 pack of princesses for kids should open them, the top of the box has velcro, and cut all the tags and crap, and put them back in. If a kid pulls to get them out they could snag an outfit or ruin the box which does work nicely as a place to keep the girls. Adding a hair brush is suggested as most have hair past their waists, Ariel, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel don't have shoes. Everyone has painted on panties that match their skirts. I actually like them compared to some other molds. I guess these match the 'toons as much as possible without looking freaky. A couple of them could be the same mold but it works.

They really are wonderful renditions of the Disney gals. ^^

I had the Mattel versions the Princes and Princesses for YEARS (since 1992 when they started releasing them!!) and I liked them well enough, some more than others, but never really thought they looked like them.

Then, last year, I discovered the Disney Store ones and they were pretty perfectly dead on resemblances, BUT their heads are a tad large. (I don't like big headed dolls ^^;;) But it was JUST a tad, so I went for them and switched out my old sets (selling them on eBay), since I preferred the Disney Store sculpts. (Well, I did like the Mattel Pocahontas and the Mattel Ariel I had was beautiful but this one probably looks more like Ariel....)

So, I bought them all, and all the Princes, converted John Smith to John Rolfe (I know, poor JSmith but in the 2 movies [and real life], she didn't end up with him so.....he had to go. Poor guy....at least JRolfe is okay....if he'd been awful, I'd have flipped! ^.~) and have them all set up in my Disney shelf area now. The only Prince I preferred is the older Prince Phillip doll because the new one is just hideous and does NOT look like Phillip at all! :shudders: So while I have both (I adore Sleeping Beauty, my favorite) Disney Store Phillips, (as I collect every different mold (face) doll made of both Aurora and Phillip) I use that other older poseable Phillip for my full Disney Princess/Prince set. He's the one who was from like 2006 or 2007 Disney Store. He's much better, in every way. ^^;;

But for the girls, (and all the guys, except for poor Phillip), like Dollykim-san says, the Disney Store ones are THE best ever! ^.~

Oooh, and the new singing 17" ones are awesome! I just received my Aurora last month and she is gorgeous! Hair perfect, face gorgeous and.....she not only sings part of the song, but if you press her hand again, she'll continue it, and then again, she'll finish the verse!! I was really impressed by that! And so loud, too! Very good quality sound and voice! If you're looking into one of them, they're on sale now at the Disney Store! I missed that sale (I bought her at first release and not discounted yet, but still totally worth it!).

I got my Swappin' Styles doll and will be posting a separate thread as I'm a bit pissed and would like to post pictures to compare it with the other doll.

But Barbie is too tall.

Also picked up a new guy to go with it, his name is Jackson and I plan to wash his hair, I do like the look of the guys. The beach dolls are cheaper than the others.
