Clothing size comparisons for Pure Neemo dolls?

Postby BSmp » Sun Aug 07, 2016 7:54 pm

Hi there. I'm new to doll collecting, and as of right now my collection primarily consists of Pure Neemo M size dolls, which are around 25 cm. In looking up custom doll clothing on eBay, Etsy, and other sites, I've found that the clothing is described as being good for xx doll or xx scale sizes, and it's a bit confusing for me. So, I just thought I'd ask about some comparisons of the following doll types to Pure Neemo M dolls to judge whether or not these custom clothes would be worth buying.

Most listings I see say that they are good for Obitsu dolls, Monster High, YoSD, Pullip, Blythe, and 1/6 scale dolls in general. Which of these would tend to be close to Pure Neemo M sizes, and are there any I should avoid purchasing for my dolls? Thanks so much in advance and I really, really appreciate any help. Looking up custom clothes has left me a bit confused on what to get. ^^;

Usually Licca/Blythe/Pullip/Momoko outfits would fit your PM M bodies widthwise pretty well, but Licca/Blythes are shorter and Pullips/Momoko are taller than the Pure Neemo M body so lengthwise they might be too long or too short depending on the cut of the outfit.

Obitsu 21-23cm outfits will most likely be too tight on your dolls since they're seriously more skinny than Pure Neemo (asides from Pure Neemo XS). The 25cm/27cm bodies though do have similar widths to the Pure Neemo M though.

Monster High is far too skinny to share clothes with Pure Neemo M though while Yo-SD clothes are too wide.

Here's some comparisons I found online:

I was looking for this post regarding Pureneemo. Keeping in mind that I only have S size. Pullip and Moxie Girl stuff might come across as a bit tight. If you can, find loose fit or stretchy clothes.

One suggestion is to mix it up with a two piece blouse + skirt combo(the only pic I have of Jenny blouse + skirt] if you're unsure if the a one-piece outfit is too long. Just be aware that outside of company clothes, things can be hit or miss.

Thanks for the pictures. That's a very nice blouse + skirt combo, by the way!
