Having grown up with Wonder Woman I'd like to think she's patrolling the house and protecting it at night. Thinking my dolls got up to fun and good things at night or when I'm not home is one of my happier childhood memories.

I bought a 1/6 scale phicen body! It is awesome. They're seamless, made of soft rubber, and with a steel skeleton. He's going to be Loki, if I figure out how to do his hair (and if my mum stops trying to steal him because he's rubbery). The phicen bodies are fairly pricey for a 1/6 scale body, but the build quality is brilliant (they weigh over half a kilo).
I have 20+ BJDs... I was only gonna get one...

Doll clothing. Now that I don't have specific dolls to buy, I seem to be building up the 1/3 quartet's wardrobe(or rather anyone that is not Helen). Currently bought coats for Jack and runts

A car from this century! Any dolly purchases will still have to be put off for awhile :/ but it will all work out. Longer to think about any newcomers and what to do with what I have.

kenaiqueen wrote:Got the new DC Super Hero Girls Wonder Woman and finally unboxed her. She's very cute and a bit taller than my computer desk dolly, MH's Laguna. She has a little weight to her which I think is mostly in her boots. They say on the box she can stand on her own and she does pretty well. Have to get her balanced right. Kinda like that her arms look muscular.

As usual, she was a pain to unbox. I'm convinced the reason they tie these dolls down so well is because they know they can roam around at night when the store is closed!! She had 3 of those plastic tag holders stuck in the back of her head instead of the usual two. Yep. Night roamer. Must tell my kid to watch out for her. (Evil Grin)

LOL! Yeah. Got one of the Wonder Woman and the Poison Ivy ones, and they do stand well.

I always complained about the tie-down thing because if it annoys me as an adult, think of what it must do to a child just trying to get their dolly out of the box.

Found this cutie on Ebay for a song...

She needs a little work and smells a bit dog-like, but I am okay with that. I like a dolly challenge...

I picked up an articulated Stacie at Goodwill for $1.57. Her joints are loose, but I will see if I can tighten them up. Her hair makes her very top-heavy for standing.

Sounds like a gymnast Stacie, that's the only one I can remember having joints.

Probably. She has the same joints as the adult Gymnast body.
