Aaw :( There's no hope of saving him? He could be a patchwork man?

It was an experiment to see if a pattern would work for an idea but it won't. The rips were to reclaim the stuffing, the fabric was already from the scrap bag. Sometimes you just gotta release the tension.

I need solid softies because I'm trying to make Cure dollies like in the Close to Me video but about 1/6 scale to be able to use all the clothes and stuff I have. Hopes are to use/adapt a pattern I already have.

Oh cool. I had to look up the dollies you're talking about. Definitely not a bad start (in my inexperienced opinion).

Thanks. That pattern is from a Japanese book of felt fairy tale dolls, which is a neat book. Other patterns I have make them too "fat" to be general 1/6 scale without a lot of modding. I want to do painted faces with some needle sculpting, have done that before and liked the look.

There's a pattern on Etsy that I've been putting off to try what I have first. For all the doll engineering I know figuring this out is escaping me.
