One month left till Chinese New Year. My 1/6 Fan Dancers - The Obi Ladies(27cmers) finally got uniforms for the first time in the 11 years since I sent them for dance lessons. I would have to figure out whether to use tight or loose grip hands to go with the white tac when gripping fans.

My Obi girls(23-25cmers) would love to join in but the dress length and sleeves would be too long. And I'm too lazy this season to sew.

Following on their heels is a pair of Obi50 dancers who went on trail last year and are still practicing.and they have uniforms too! I am amuse that there is a Helen on both team. Big!Helen is not joining in since that form is more of a songstress than a dancer, And she digging into my head for stuff I remembered about Chinese Songstresses while growing up. That study trip to Hong Kong helped

If anything I hope to get decent weather to paint Erika a backup head.


Maybe the Obi-girls or the Manly Trinity((officially only 3 1/6 dudes left) could take up lion / dragon dance officially

So I do hope that I could keep up with them.

indeed, the overcompensating, "Man-Child" types of attitudes that often prevail around the TRANS FORMERS and Anime Mecha toy fanbases i frequent can be rather decidedly toxic...

I'm surprise they rolled out Tedros, what with discontinuing his EID form. This makes me curious if they would revive Luna in a FID size. She's one of the few female sculpts in their line who has an obvious warm smile. Would have to save up in the event she does show up.

I am still saving up for a doll shelf even though I keep getting distracted by dolls. On the whole I need the doll shelf first so that I would have an idea of the size of the dolls' diorama home and environment. Otherwise it keeps evolving, the plans campfire had expanded in a ranch and is in danger of expanding into a prairie town. The dojo now has a Japanese garden and one of the younger dolls demand a kotatsu (Same doll that insisted on evolving the campfire)

On the topic of a prairie town that the little doll wants to expand for another doll who claims he is not a cowboy and she's only doing this to get a pony. This lovely little Western town showed up for references. And there be horses.

So long as my blue prints don't include a railroad. I would like to have my campfire back and maybe throw int a wagon so Not a Cowboy and his Not a Gypsy/Circus Performer can have set up camp to distract that little doll.

@Tasuke and @Den Hah! Glad to hear I'm not the only one. (Sadly, I think its more that bjd-land is one of the bastions of relative peace online, rather than those other places being especially awful.)


Well... Assuming that my Resinsoul order actually happens... I'm getting in one of their lovely new 60cm female bodies for a floating head, and that Gang I've wanted for years. Now for the knotty process of working out their wardrobes/personalities beyond the rough sketches I had planned. (That Gang for instance will play on the fact that he's very short relative to the other male dolls in my group in thjs scale.)

I plan on Putting a volks #10 head on a obitsu 40cm body. The head is in semi-white also l got a MDD3 M bust in the same color. Now just to wait intill all of this gets here.
