Do you have to keep moving the joint while it dries?

I don't think so? the nail polish is supposed to go on the peg of the part that popped off. it increases the amount of friction in the joint.

Just wanted to elaborate on Deb's response: The clear polish goes on while the piece is still popped out, and is supposed to be allowed to dry COMPLETELY before being reattached. (I used to use this on old Monster High dolls I bought secondhand whose arms and hands were a little too loose. My Astranova was pretty bad. Her arm fell off all the time, and she didn't even have to be handled, I'd just hear a tiny thunk and there it was on my desk.)
