Azone Majokko Sera Little Witch of the Wisdom

Postby werepuppy » Tue Aug 14, 2018 5:15 pm

So, 14th August is my birthday and this year my parentals decided they would get me a doll. Which was very nice of them. I shouldn't have been too surprised - they did manage to find me my awesome Ankh at Christmas, but I still get a bit surprised when people take an interest in my hobby in a positive way And here is where I state that quite frankly, I genuinely don't know how my Mum manages to find the deals she does. I have some of her deal finding abilities but she is a master of them!

So, this is Sera, the Little Witch of Wisdom, part of the Majokko Ex Cute Family from Azone International. She is my first Azone and ... wow, I am very impressed with her. The clothing is amazing and there's a nice weight to the doll herself that makes her feel comfortable to hold. I also like that she came with a lot of hand parts for expressiveness, even if I haven't changed them out yet...

A friend has pointed out to me that Sera here might just fit in as one of the Addams Clan, to which... well, I'll take a picture checking that out tomorrow, I guess. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for care of an Azone? I've ... never had one and am a little worried of messing her up, lovely thing that she is.

... She might be an Addams...

Well other than the fact that they are gosh darn cute.

They come in four sizes and Azone made them with asthestics in mind, so articulation wise even though they are no Obitsu, mine kept pace with her Obitsu buddies well enough. Those hands you just twist them out

The flection(yours too) bodies are a little more articulated than the older bodies and some are sit-pose only bodies if you can find the older series.

My neemo is a little on the plumper side compared to her skinny Obitsu buddies,. She still can wear some of Barbie's clothes and stretchy Moxie girl pants. Monster High would be too skinny for her. I don't have Blythe to match. I don't have matching pics after quitting photobucket. Here's a size chart from an earlier topic

Like any vinyl, staining and ageing happens, so keep clean where possible.

@ Iwa_Hoshi: So gosh darn cute really is a great way to describe these darling ones. Thank you for the link to the size chart, this will be very helplful.

Oh, and my friend was right: she's an Addams. Well, technically she's a Frump, Ophelia's little sister

@ Dark Angel: She really does. Sera is a perfect Addams girl in looks.

Though, seriously, she just looks so adorable in pretty much anything I put her in. This one shows it the best (it also shows Jenny stuff fits, and I know Licca stuff also fits so opportunity for different clothing!)

@ maywomg: She really does! Which is interesting because it was my Mum who found and bought her and she wasn't thinking of any of my dolls when she did so, just that she thought I might like this little one. Which I do. And I'm now looking on Mandarake to price another one... Because Sera needs a friend from her own doll type.

That being said... she's managed to make some friends here already...

Congrats on your new little lady!!!! She does seem to fit right in with the rest of your crew. Pretty much every doll I have gets on the internet and starts bragging to other dolls and inviting them to come live at my place. So, it seems she's already charmed you into letting more dolls join in. Tee-hee ;) Thank you for the eye candy!!!
Man dolls.... because baby dolls come from somewhere. ;)
