Not the weirdest thing I've ever done, but . . .

Barbie, Jenny, Fashion Royalty, Obitsu and 1/6 resins - basically anything 10-12inch/21-27cm or in the neighborhood.

Not the weirdest thing I've ever done, but . . .

So i finished my first full reroot, and it turned out a little thick. Also, I had to resort to using tacky glue in his head because my fabric glue has disappeared into the aether. Long story short, he's fought me the whole way, and has refused to dry. So, I dug around the craft drawers and found some rolls of wire to fashion a hook from, and now I have a tiny head hanging off the frame of the bunk bed like some kind of horror movie . . . But it's working.

Can't wait to see him all together, there's something about a handsome doll with long black hair.

I know what you mean. And it's been such a long time coming, I've been meaning to work on Shailoh for probably around a year, and things just suddenly fell into place to finally do it. He's still mad at me for taking so long, but he's happy to no longer be a bald, disembodied head rolling around in the doll box like he's been for the last 6-8 months . . . He still doesn't have pants that fit, but he's not bald anymore, and if I know Shailoh, he's anything but embarrassed over his lack of clothing . . .

I always love to see pictures of doll parts in progress. I think many of us have laughed at the absurdity of tiny body parts suspended in odd places!

My mother was once startled by a half bald doll head I left on the bathroom sink counter and forgot where I left. Now, she's become a little TOO comfortable with finding body parts around the house. (And on today's episode of "Serial Killer or Doll Customizer" . . .)

And of course the first thing I notice isn't the hanging doll head (which doesn't strike me as odd at all), but that apparently you have the same loft bed I do. Only with fewer things piled on and under it (including one large black up of dolls I need to make an organizer for).
Playscale-Obsessed Mad Scientist with more cheap vinyl dolls than I'm willing to count.

Oh, believe me, the top is piled dangerously close to its max capacity, and there's so much stuff under it that there's no longer an actual "under" to the bed. I just tried to pick the angle it looked least hoarder-ish for this pic. ^u^;
