Halloween costumes

This past year the theme of the summer reading was Libraries Rock, so the boss decided we all needed to be punk rockers for Halloween. I went full on punk, but she went more glam rock. We also do a 'Literary Haunted House' for the kids so our Children's Librarian is in his knight costume for that. One other gal did a very goth rock, but had on a witch outfit for haunted house and was too busy with that to pose with us. I'm the one in the red hair. Too bad the tat arms I found didn't show up well...they were hilarious! I was not supposed to work that day, but got called in so I think I did pretty well for having less than a week to find all that stuff.

BTW, my tee was stolen from my son as payback for stealing one of my Christmas sweaters...and winning an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest with it!

How fun!

I didn't dress up this year. We don't get trick-or-treaters anymore and we have a work uniform so all I could do was put on some monster eyeball earrings and clip a spider to my shirt.

What I wore for the Trick or Treaters at work


What I wore for Halloween. Didn't have a real plan for a costume this year so I threw together some random Nightmare Before Christmas steampunkish items I had.

Here are my sister's and I's costumes. We're so late in posting here because we didn't get to go out on Halloween night as usual (Dad wasn't feeling well) so we had to postpone it and just managed to head to dinner at Red Lobster this past week. (Yup, in costume. Why not, right? )

My sister was Summer Anna and I was Regal Elsa this year.

I love those pictures, Setsunakou! It's funny to me to see Anna and Elsa (and the guys, of course) at Red Lobster. XD Especially the last picture with you. He's looking at the food like: "I just want a bite."
