She's adorable. I love that kind of face, and her clothes look really neat. Do they fasten with tiny snaps?

She's a Mattel Star Spangled Doll from the 70s, the Pioneer Daughter model, based on their Sunshine Family line. It does look like there's a couple of snaps on the dress but I don't plan to change her.

My old Sunshine Family is around somewhere. They're sweet little dolls.

The "spooky twins" are Maudlynne Macabre, a 16-inch playline doll from Tonner Dolls. Maudlynne is out of production, but can readily be found on eBay, for reasonable (under $50 USD) prices if you're patient, or a bit more if you're in a hurry.

Well, the bag was in a box. And as you say, "de-bagging" sounds somehow not quite... right.

Actually, the girls arrived about six weeks apart. Symphony arrived first, but I was determined to not open the package until I had saved enough to supply her with a friend. Some serious eBay selling ensued, and to my surprise, I was able to order my second Smart Doll relatively quickly.

And speaking of Smart Dolls, I attempted my first outdoor (other than one previous quick snapshot) Smart Doll photo-shoot today... and ended up having a helper:
