Made to Move Barbie skintones?

Postby SetsunaKou » Wed Feb 06, 2019 4:47 pm

Does anyone know which MTM Barbie has the palest skintone? That would match the Obitsu NS or the Disney Store princess dolls most? I'm looking for a regular (not curvy) size body to put a Disney Princess head on (Either Rapunzel or Naomi from Elena of Avalor).

Thanks for your help!!!!!!

The palest skin tone MTM is the one with the purple top.

Amazon has her in stock at a regular price if you hurry. Other exclusive yoga Barbies too.

Mine came in, she's definitely very Barbie pale. I just don't have more than 5 minutes of natural light to compare her to the 2010 princess heads and Obitsu normal girls I have.

To me the Barbie does look a bit less peachy than the regular Obitsu girls BUT if you even think you might want her get her before the price shoots up.

I'm late to this comment thread, but the Obitsu pale and normal skintones are both paler than Purple Top, but the normal skintone is more of an undertone difference. The Purple Top doll has more a gray/neutral undertone, while the Obitsu normal body has a very pink/peachy undertone. However, the normal toned HEADS are a slightly different color, and seem to be a perfect match for the Purple Top body, based on a comparison I just did with my own dolls. The Purple Top doll's head, however, is WAY off from being a match for the normal Obitsu. It's really weird.

Thanks again, maywong-san, DollyKim-san and Katriella-san!

I just bought a couple 'Laurie Hernandez' Made to Move Barbie dolls to use with a Pocahontas (Disney Store 2009 head which is darker tan than the Disney Store 2012 + up Pocahontas heads) but Laurie's skintone is too light. ^^;;

Does anyone know if either of these are darker than Laurie Hernandez's MTM skintone?

I believe that the MTM soccer player and the girl with the flower yoga pant are indeed slightly darker than Laurie Hernandez's MTM skintone.

Here is a Pocahontas head on a MTM curvy body.
