The well pump at my house stopped working. I had to crawl into a damp and dirty underground concrete culvert to try to fix it. Naturally, I took dollies with me. Sparkly, glittery Flairy dollies!





Probably woulda been more practical to take some screwdrivers and wrenches and stuff. Or maybe a really big hammer.

The dolls are called Flairies. They were released by Mattel in conjunction with a direct-to-video Barbie movie, Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale, in 2010. The three characters are named Shim'R, Glim'R, and Shin'E. They are about nine inches tall. The heads are vinyl but the bodies are hard plastic with articulation only at the shoulders and hips. They are covered externally with glued-on glitter that doesn't stay glued on and leaves a trail of fairy dust (or a mess, depending on how you look at it) everywhere they go.

No creepy beetles, but several dead mice in various stages of decomposition.

One of the parks I visit for location shoots has its sub area revamped and extended. My 1/6ers took chance to tag a long.

Jack been hyper enough this few weeks that he switched to his 1/6 shell for this.


And the one who's wondering why he's partnered with the hyperactive one.
