Found a few things on my trip to Walmart this morning.

I didn't need a Hedwig stuffie, but sometimes you just have to when they are that cute. The Cap doll is going to be a donation to my library for their summer reading prizes if they will have it. (Theme this year is a "Universe of stories".) Was very happily surprised by the WreckIt Ralph Casual Princesses. There were 2 other sets, but none with my beloved Aurora so I got the sisters. And finally, arriving by UPS from the Disney store is my baby Aurora.

And, winner of the worst wig on a Disney doll. Maybe second place since the Baby Belle looked even worse. This was after washing the crunchy out. But the face is so cute and she has a very huggable body. I don't see these selling well.

So... ranty time.

I'm not very happy with my latest purchase because I haven't received him yet! I paid IMMEDIATELY. First she said she couldn't ship him because the post office was closed on the weekend but she'd do it Monday. Monday rolls around and nothing. Then Tuesday, Wednesday and on Thursday I messaged. "So sorry" she keeps telling me. She decided that she didn't like the box she had him in. So her husband was going to make one. She sent pictures... Cause that helps.

Well, there goes Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and now back to Monday. Still no tracking number.

I already had to wait about a week for my shipping estimate. And now we're going on week two. "The post office closes at 5", duh. It does that everywhere and yet, everyone else manages to ship their dolls.

End rant. Just want my freaking doll. If I wanted to wait 3 weeks, I would have ordered directly from the company.

I've been on a nostalgia kick and am trying to get a full set of Rose Petal Place dolls (well, except the spider... I don't need the spider...) I say trying, because though I have some I'm waiting on the arrival of and that will make a full set, that will only be the case if none of the last ones I'm waiting for off Ebay have sticky-leg syndrome. These dolls seem a bit prone to it... However I have three of the six already, and a floating head (due to a case of sticky-leg).

Rose-Petal, wearing a Chelsea's clothes because she lacked her dress - they can swap clothes! Chelsea next to her is wearing Sunny Sunflower's dress/top...


Lily-Fair had to have an emergency decapitation so I could get a sticky-legged body FAR away from the rest of my collection as fast as possible...


And there's Sunny Sunflower between Rose and the Chelsea doll now modeling Lily-Fair's salvaged leotard. The kodama like them...

I'm still waiting on the arrival of an ebay lot containing a few doubles (including a new body for Lily, hopefully - I've gotten attached to the current head), an Orchid, and an Iris to complete the set. (I'm not counting the other six that were never really in production - I can't afford that kind of thing!)

Thanks! I'm glad too. It would have been nice a week ago, when I could take him to work and string him, since we weren't busy and I was the only one there. But oh well. I may still take him to work this weekend. I'll make time to put him together. Assuming he arrives in time for this weekend!
