Life in the Room [Photo Stories!]

Tales of love, death and more angst than you can shake a stick at - plus some comedy thrown in for good measure.

I'm going to say it's the former. Taking over the world would strongly cut into her nap time, and she likes naps far too much.

I agree with neon_jellyfish, The Room stories are much more entertaining, while remaining more true to character type.

Although having The Room characters react to those other versions is particularly amusing!

Aw, thank you!

I generally work on this stuff with Rule of Comedy in mind. Nine times out of ten, sticking to a layered characterisation makes things... funnier. And yes, there's always a sense of meta in the Room.

Did anyone really expect Loki to say something genuinely nice?

Indeed she did! She only has herself to blame, here!

... Well, they could hope that he might have phrased it a bit more politely ...

Kylo-Ben should know, as he is something of an expert when it comes to being annoying, himself. Although he probably does not recognize that fact. Nor would he agree about the "idiot" part. Good thing he has The Doctor to point that out!

So apparently there's a new Star Wars/Kylo-Ben film scheduled for release this coming December (2020). How did I not know that prior to nosing about on the Internet just now? I used to follow Star Wars with considerable interest. I guess the fact that I did not know, or care, that Episode IX was even in production, let alone scheduled for release in a few months, is a testament to the POWERFUL EVIL coursing through the veins of Son of Vader. He was able to destroy an entire universe for me, and make me completely stop caring about the Star Wars franchise.

Well... lousy scripting may have contributed. Mostly, though, it was Kylo-Ben... the character, the actor, the portrayal, the entire package.

But then... but then... Richard E. Grant is in the new film! The Curse of the Fatal Death Doctor! So... will Kylo-Ben actually appear on-screen with Doctor Who?

I'm gonna have to see the movie, aren't I?

Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, scheduled to be released on December 20, 2019, in the US and helmed by J.J. Abrams.
For me the best part is John Williams is returning to compose and conduct.
