I don't really follow Star Wars, but judging from the discussion, annoying seems to be a key word?

[snip for length]

But then... but then... Richard E. Grant is in the new film! The Curse of the Fatal Death Doctor! So... will Kylo-Ben actually appear on-screen with Doctor Who?

I'm gonna have to see the movie, aren't I?

The Doctor is very good at pointing out when people are being idiots. Except when it's her being an idiot, then someone else needs to point it out and it might take a bit to get through to her.

You are, it's Richard E. Grant. I mean, there's a law about that somewhere: you must drop everything to see Richard E. Grant in whatever film he appears in. Also in the film? Matt Smith, the Eleventh Doctor, and Ian McDiarmid. Yeah, that's right, Palpatine is back. Cue the classic evil laugh now.

It really is for Kylo. He has the potential to do the right thing... and then he does the thing that makes you slap your head in annoyance.

The Doctor's always around to help out!

"YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME?"

"According to the rules of my canon, most people don't. An' I only know that stuff because my voice actor means I have fourth wall powers."
"...Right. Well, you're part of the Room now. Canon doesn't mean much here. More people might be able to understand you."
"I can work with that."
"...Um."
"What?"
"...Can I get a hug?"

Knowing the Doctor is there... the room wouldn't happen to have cannibalized the translation circuits from the TARDIS? ^.~

He killed his unarmed father, who just happened to be Han Solo, in cold blood, with a sword through the gut. That is evil. That is wrong. And there is no redemption for crap like that. I'm sorry, I don't buy in to the whole "redemption arc" thing.

I don't know why Luke didn't take him out. That last movie turned Luke in to a weak, whiny loser, too.

And then Rey kind of has a thing for this creep. Like she's gonna save him or something. He's a two-bit Vader-wannabe patricidal murderer. There's nothing there worth redeeming.

Sorry... bit of a Star Wars rant. But this is the stuff that has killed Star Wars for me.

The Room version of Kylo-Ben, in contrast, hilariously focuses on the whiny emo wannabe side of him, which is plausible, while largely ignoring the totally implausible aspect of him being a Powerful Dark Lord before whom all others tremble. I love it when Kylo-Ben shows up in The Room, while I honestly don't really care if I ever see another Star Wars cinema film.

But... Matt Smith is in the new movie, too? THE TWO DOCTORS! Who cares about the rest of the Skywalker/Star Wars nonsense! It's a Doctor Who reunion!

Which means I might have to see it. :|

Meanwhile, back on topic (sort of): I've wanted a deerstalker cap since I was a little kid watching Basil Rathbone on television. I wonder why I've never owned one? Perhaps I need to remedy that.

"Loki, the God of Mischief. An' who let you out of your cage, I wonder?"
"Oh, wonderful. Another human magic user. And what threats will you be making? Another fall through an endless void? Your threats are all so... tedious."

"I'm a bit more hands on than that, mate."
"...Well, that's a new one."

"Loyal One, deal with this annoyance."
"...Wait..."
"Cousin John, please don't burn my toy. He's proving resilient to my games. It's... amusing."
"Wednesday, when did you hook up with this prick?"
"What do you mean 'Cousin'?!"

Loki appears to be at least marginally impressed by the "practical magic" of fire.

But then... oh boy! Another Addams clan cousin to deal with? I almost feel sorry for the Merry Prankster.

Almost.

One more member joins the Power Team to protect the fair Addams damsels from the predations of Gaston.

Loki seems to be in for some headaches. This seems amusing.
