Sojourns with Cherry

As sweet and spoiled and sassy as Cherry is, there's one instance that makes even her have an emo moment.

And it involves her favorite cosplay.

For those not aware, Mina is a character from a Korean horror movie called The Doll Master (Inhyeongsa) about BJDs coming to life and killing people. Like Riri says, Mina was hurt and confused and not really evil, just very easily manipulated because she's, well, a doll.

It's almost a parody of a western slasher flick, but because it's one of the first horror films involving BJDs I still have a fondness for it. Naturally, it's Riri's favorite horror movie ever...but she cries at the bonfire scene every time.

Doll master turn out to be kinda sad, it would probably be the horror movie version of Toy Story.

Well, here's an idea for those of you with ambitions to write--a book or a webcomic. Rewrite "The Doll-Master." Invent a new main character who manages to save Mina from becoming a terror by loving her and bringing her back to the doll she was. Bonus points for creating a character who her/himself is challenged in some way.

There's an audience for that project. I'm not the right one to write it, but there is definitely an audience.

I've been trying to find a copy of The Doll Master, everytime I think I might be able to watch it, it's been pulled due to license expiration. ;.;
