She really is. The facial sculpt is new - exclusive to this doll, apparently - but wow, they just managed to make her so pretty. Not that the actress isn't - she is, very - but sometimes person prettiness =/= doll prettieness. Does that make sense? Oh, I hope that makes sense.

davidd wrote:The costume on this fig looks pretty cool. It would be fun if the jacket would fit other figures, but it appears to have the extremely narrow sleeves typical of Barbie-type clothing.

Speaking of Space Force and comic strips: Britain had DAN DARE: PILOT OF THE FUTURE! So, that's a high enough Cool Factor right there (without even taking in to consideration Lero the Crypt) to make up for any lack of serious super-hero contenders.

The coat would look brilliant on some others, but you're very right on the narrow sleeves. Though I think a Flickr friend did manage to take it off... I'll need to look and see.

Huh. I had forgotten about that character.

And the Doctor doll reminds me that I dreampt about the Doctor the other day. He got a new form that wasn't human.

Well, the Doctor has said it can happen. We've never seen it, but they speak about it as if it is fairly common. Though apparenntly the humanoid shape - two arms, two legs, one head - is the most common throughout the universe...

A school with a lot of issues. I mean, seriously, don't think they'd pass their OFSTED inspection...

I'm still kinda sad that EAH died out. Although, given the quality of last few releases, it's probably not that big of a loss.

Oh, you are making sense! I often think that dolls modeled after actors look dreadful, no matter how beautiful the "original" is (for example Belle dolls made after Emma Watson. Such a beautiful woman, how did they manage to botch the sculpt like that?).

Who's missing from this scene? Darling Charming!
Altho' with Apple there, front and center, I suppose you don't really need anyone else.

I agree on that summary of EH. And in the dream the Doctor was still humanoid. He was just green, bald, and had these little barbel things on his jaw like some kind of fleshy, sparse beard. Since my head canon Doctor's still with River, she wasn't too amused.
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

Oh yeah, the minute they started to cut corners, you knew the line was done for - same with Monster High. Mind you, I think flooding the market with releases also didn't help much as it meant stuff lingered in shelves too long.

Also that is a really good point and I don't have an answer for it.

Apple doesn't share the centre stage.

Ahhhh. I'm sure River would have made the most of it :P

The tall gal (I keep forgetting her name - I'm sorry) is the only one who doesn't have anyhting blue...

But they're awesome. I think I'd like to be friends with them.

How many times have I gushed over Mot's awesome outfit? Probably a thousand.

Now a thousand and one.

These are all really cool figs, and cool characters, and I'm glad they have become friends in The Room.

I think her primary beef was his lack of English. He's working on it, and their kid is very amused. So are all his little pet dinosaurs.

I'm a relative n00b, will you tell me what kind of dolls the friends are/introduce me to them?
