Nendo Light is so adorable! ...That must be the weirdest thing I ever said about a serial killer...

It really is? It's impressive to see how much Nendoroids have changed since their original releases - there's so much more detail now.

Stormlight wrote:Love Nendoroids! They’re so cute. I’ve considered buying one at my local anime con a few times, but I already collect enough stuff I don’t have room for. lol

LOL I don't really collect them, but for Death Note I have to make an exception. There have been a few that are tempting though...

Well, he was deliberatelty designed to be handsome in the manga so I'm guessing saying that is the intended result.

Because of course my first big girl gets the spot here. She's a bit spoiled, really, when compared to some of my other BJDs, but she was my first and I love her to pieces.

The girl of many stripes! Always happy to see her!

I meant it more like it's pretty weird to call a serial killer adorable, in general, not just Light. As for the character, to me, he is handsome, but in a cool way, and he can be as charming as it gets, because it benefits his plans, but that's different from being adorable. He's a suave, cold-blooded psycho with messiah complex. But Nendos are adorable and no amount of serial killer psychos can change that!

Of course, you could do it the Mothy Python way and go with the Rabbit of Caerbannog, and you get an objectively adorable killer beast...

Olivia is always a delight to take photographs of. The camera loves her.

... Okay so now Nendo Light is basically the Rabbit of Caerbannog. That's it, settled!

49. P is for Paddington

Image

One of the most infamous bears in all fiction. This little plush here is based on the design used in the 1975 stop motion shorts that were replayed on children's television in the UK for years - I saw them growing up in the 90s.  You can find them on YouTube, I'd recommend them. I'd also recommend the films from a few years ago because they respected the source material and are genuinely delightful little things.

But yes, enjoy a little Paddington

The books are still fun to re-read now as an adult. I keep a complete set around. It can be nice, to see thing from Paddington's perspective once in a while.

I did not know that! That's an interesting fact to know as well.

Reading about an anarchic girls school where anything goes? Yup, that's the sort that Hayley likes best.
