Heilung and no time for projects

Postby Trethowan » Tue Jul 07, 2020 9:00 pm

I've discovered a new music, by Heilung, and now I'm obsessing over Maria's headdress. If I had time for my poor, neglected dolls I'd attempt a doll and outfit. I have the antlers but I don't have the time.

Is anyone else having more ideas than time to implement them?

Love to all,

T

I thought more ideas than you had time for was normal.

I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

You owe us at least a picture of the outfit you are obsessed over!

I've spent literally hours yesterday working on a pleather tacvest for my Melinda May project doll. I'm determined to finish her so I can move onto another half-finished project.

This is what Trethowan is talking about.

Honestly it's not that difficult a headdress.

Slightly more detailed view:

Tape and wire horns, styrofoam skull with fake fur, yarn headband and wig. Macrame, flat kumihimo, or weaving the headband would take the longest.

A bit of searching online might turn up trim for the headband and belt.

Yeah, I would bet they went with a commercially available trim.

Yeah, I don't have all the time for the projects I want to do. Once we're back down to maintaining only one home and one mortgage, I really hope to get back to enjoying time in my new hobby room. I miss doing projects so much!
Man dolls.... because baby dolls come from somewhere. ;)
