Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-San (KOTOBUKIYA, 2020)

so, this figure kit that i've been waiting on since April 2020 finally came in;

well, was she worth the wait? i think so.
she was initially released back in 2009, IIRC, the bare figure alone,
with her charging cradle and Broom/weapons accessories sold in a separate set.

this 2020 renewal edition includes it all;







inner skirt has been painted to simulate Slip/Petticoat;







Figure has alternate bare feet with Rare Earth magnets in her soles to interface with the matching magnet plate in the Charging cradle;

i have yet to finish her Broom and Weapon accessories, which will require a good deal of paintwork. you will see them here, when finished...

Another great find. Very cute figure. Love her recharge stand. I just showed my boyfriend this series and now he's interested in the ps game!

i've painted lip detailing onto all my dolls, as well as many of my favorite figures.

it just brings so much more life into their delicate little faces,
and seems to beautifully complete each and every girl i've done it to...

Awww. My friend gave me a lady Transformers figure. She painted her mouth, too.

Also, there are no words to express just how badly I wish that HoiHoi-san were a real thing. My bug troubles would be over.

there's always the BANDAI CHOGOKIN HoiHoi if one wants a finished lifesize figure of her, that perhaps brings her a step closer to reality than the model kit can manage;
