Good news on having a nice landlord!

Also, Tam, the earning more part is still pending. The bill needs to be ratified by the House and Senate. And that is just one of several much needed updates. My daughter is disabled and on SSI and SSDI which, currently, is little more than government forced poverty. Everything she can do to improve her income (like have more than $2000 at any given time or getting married) can reduce or even eliminate her benefits. To butcher something I heard a long time ago: Poverty's a lady when you embrace her intentionally, but a real bitch when she's a roommate that won't move out.

Meanwhile I am going to be more active in looking for a found family. Strangers on the internet have to be better than the way I get treated a lot of the time. Long time blog readers know what I mean. Getting my stuff has been pushed back until after everyone else comes first but I’m in trouble if I get upset about yet another promise broken.

Just learned of another abuse of the no evictions thing that has caused a chain reaction. Person buys second house the occupant of which has agreed to move out of, they decide to rent their first house. Except the occupant of the sold house refuses to move or pay rent or anything so the new owner can’t move in and thus can’t rent their other house.
People like us would have been the renters of the guy’s old house.

Y’all remember a few months ago I bought newspaper rain bags to bag up my dolls? At least I do, lol. Well, if it comes down to stuffing all the nooks and crannies of the rented vehicle the dolls will come out of their bins and set the new record for Barbies in a glovebox.
Just the store boughts and ones I already toss around, the volbitsus are in a hard plastic tote, by Barbie, and the resins in their padded boxes.
But seriously, newspaper rain bags, tie a knot to close it, keeps 1/6 and smaller dolly safe enough.
*At the least I’ll have the way back of like a dodge caravan, unless less people come, and have to make sure what’s left can be broken and tossed around by other people in case I never get back to storage and have to watch she who can’t be left home alone. With my anemia that might be my most useful thing
So pray that it’s just two people on the trip.
