Vasilisa (Little Pullip Froggy on Obitsu Body)

Postby Mary Kathryn » Sat Dec 25, 2010 9:03 am

I've been wanting a Little Froggy forever and really intended to leave her in her stock. After she got here I took some pics of her in her frog getup and then decided that she must have a more poseable body immediately. Much to George's chagrin I grabbed her body for the swap. Don't worry, George is getting upgraded to a 25cm Obitsu body. Swapping wasn't difficult at all, it just required some mods on the neck piece. And I love the result.

I've got a red wig for her that I need to wash to reset the curls. Her default wig is bright orange. She's so obviously meant to be a ginger. :)

The name is inspired by the Russian variant of The Frog Princess and also by another Russian fairytale - Vasilisa the Beautiful. She had a magic doll. I thought it was fitting.

Oh my! She's wonderful. I've got little froggy and love her, but yours is great. Yes, a red wig is so perfect for her.

So is there a prince who shoots his arrow in to the air and finds her?

Have you put her in the red wig yet? I'd love to see.

She looks amazing!
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
