Dollieh temptations and plans

Holy crap you’re right! I think I might’ve had a small collection of both. I remember particular dolls and some seem to be from one brand and some from the other. I don’t recall them ever having accessories or play sets but I used to love those things.

Right now I'm scheming and plotting to make some Princess Daisy and Princess Peach dolls. Nintendo's licensed plushies, but not fashion dolls, so I'm gonna make some out of Obitsu parts. Still mulling over a Rosalina doll. I prefer to keep my dolls in sets of 2, and it would make 3 princesses... I dunno.

I feel like I need this dolly in my life, but I'm not buying the pattern because I've already got another pattern that needs to be made, and I haven't even managed to finish hand sewing the printed out Daisy Kingdom Raggedy Anne yet.

Since Obitsu is discontinuing the 27cm model I wanted to use, and more importantly, it's SHOES, I'm skipping the Nintendo Princesses idea for now. It's not a good time to make more dolls anyway, hubby and I are moving across the country to a much smaller space and I need to ... downsize my collection.

But to have a sewing goal, one must be able to sew the things! lol

Which size? The original ones that are similar to 11cm ball joints or the newer ones?

And for five minutes I might consider taking commissions on repainting 1/6 scale heads (the hard non rooted ones) because I'll be doing a bunch next month and once the paint is out it's out.

eBay is my go-to for Kelly dolls. You can usually find them under $20, which, doe the quality, is a pretty good deal.
