Thrift store Sakura all dressed up!

Since she (Volks Mayu head on a MDD 3 body) appears to be a pieced together knock off Cardcaptor Sakura I've decided that any outfits I make for her based on the show will be slightly off.

Still some work to do but this is enough for today.

Thanks. After looking at pics online it hit me that her original owner might have meant for her to be Cardcaptor Sakura and it wouldn't hurt to make the pink coat and hat for her.

I knew she was meant to be someone. I don't watch Cardcaptor Sakura but I know of her and see her a lot.

Walmart unicorns for Britches, this stuff has to be lined so I made it reversible. There's one more item coming in different colors that will go with the unicorns.

As Walmarty as the fabric is the print does work for larger 1/4 and 1/3 dolls and they have several solids that will go with it.

That's so cute it should be illegal. I wish my big girls were that easy to dress.

It's actually a quick and cheap solution to her needing clothes, aside from the pink outfit, and me having no ideas for that style.

It's all based around that unicorn print, the three solids are colors in it, the fabric has to be lined because it's kind of thin so why not make it reversible, and the pieces are very basic patterns because I wanted to be done. The hat was a happy accident playing with scraps.

Both my big jointed ones that didn't come dressed have set characters and very particular clothing demands. I've gotten the Obit60 dressed now, but the Resinsoul Lu is still awaiting the day that I can get her sturdy cargo pants and some work safe boots (she's a ship building engineer).

...And right now I can't even afford a bag of stuffing so I can make mushroom dolls to sell. LOL
