Here is the current state of my RH shelf as of today.

I think I just tend to like the more pastel shades better. But I think I have a nice mix of skin tones. And I agree about hoping for more teen/Jr High dolls. They are so cute!

I saw a Shadow High special edition in Target the other day. Don’t know if it was an exclusive or not, but even though her hair was black and her clothes were all black and white, her skin tone was normal, not a shade of gray or black or white like the other SH dolls. Weird. I was considering picking her up except I couldn’t find a price and I’m pretty sure she’d be more than the other dolls given the extra clothes and stuff. She was pretty though.

I’ve been resisting those Jr. High kids myself. I’m already collecting too many dolls as it is.

Edit: I looked up that doll on Amazon. Ainsley Slater. First, I’m pretty sure $124 is a scalpers price, not legitimate.

Also, her clothes do actually have pops of color and her hair looks more like a really deep purple instead of black. I might have to go back to Target again and see if I can find her REAL price. lol

The end cap at Target where I found my Natasha Shadow High also had a number of "dark" color RH dolls. I don't remember what they were called but one was a deep emerald green and one was dark purple.

Those are the new wave 4 dolls and I think they are intended to represent more inclusive types like the one with the vitiligo and the Asian looking girl. There are at least 3 of those I want badly and I'm certain it will be months before we see them up here. Maybe by then, I can afford them LOL!

Shipping is outrageous for anywhere to anywhere right now. I appreciate the thought, but with my finances right now, I can't even think about it. They will show up eventually, or they'll show up on the Target and Walmart websites where if I order enough, I can get free shipping.

Spotted another Shadow High set at Target. Twins! Only they’ve got splashed of color in their clothes and hair. They’re really pretty.

I saw pictures on Instagram of the new set of Jr High dolls. They have a white hair/with rainbow streaks Amaya that I'm sure I will need. Most of the other colors were the dark ones I don't seem to care for.

More Instagram news: a set of three girls in fancy metallic dresses, gold, silver and I think a rose gold or bronze maybe? Didn't look very copper to me but perhaps that was what the intent was. I believe they referred to them as the Divas so maybe they are supposed to be singers. At any rate, I wants them all!
