Rose Gold? Oh dear ..... that might be too tempting, if so!

Can't figure out how to copy a pic from there, but here's a link to the picture. It is indeed a rose gold.

Forgot to mention they have some Neon ones coming too.

I don't collect Rainbow High, but . . . I may have to break my rule of "no buying dolls just for display".

I'm hardcore thinking about getting gay romantic interests for my River and my Emi. They were gonna be my hetero couple, but I'm not feeling it at all. I really wanna get Finn, the pink boy, for River, and I can't decide who to get for Emi.

Yes, I know the male characters are token boyfriends for female characters in the show, but that's not relevant to my doll collection.

Fanfiction authors have always held the mindset that the hetero canon of shows is more of a guideline anyway.

The dollies have a canon?

Maybe Emi's love interest hasn't been released yet, or they believe in so many token boyfriends so little time. What ever you come up with is bound to be more interesting than the half hour toy commercials corporate puts out.

I have failed to bond with my River but haven't managed to sell him yet. I would like to see the pink Finn first before I decide if I'd prefer him or if I'd just rather no boys in my collection. We never got all the Coast dolls in our Wallys store and I've only seen a few of the Shadow locally. No sign of the new wave yet either.

I once got two Tonner steampunk dolls planning to have them escort/date my Ellowyne dolls, but they fell in love and are now a couple. The vinyl heart wants what the vinyl heart wants.

Not all fanfiction authors. Sorry, I just get triggered by sweeping inclusive statements like this.

Hopefully the show is providing good and diverse female role models. The Monster High show turned me off with one dimensional one word characters that came across as teenaged girls being written by people who were never teenaged girls.

Even tho I've studied a bit about how humans are hard wired to accept big eyes, heads, and mouths along with long legs etc I've always found MGA's dolls and their clothes to be somewhat sexualized for children's toys.

Unfortunately, sexualizing children's TV shows and characters—and even children themselves in the case of Hollywood—seems to be the modern theme these days. :( Until we stop making little girls grow up before their time, I don’t see their toys changing in any way.

Bratz always struck me as being more sexualized than Rainbow High, though. Or maybe I was just used to Barbie’s relatively clean reputation in comparison when those dolls first released. I dunno, I just never liked them.
