My dream doll is a Fairyland Minifee Chloe. I have had two. First I had one in white skin, I loved her SO much but wasn't happy with the white skin. So I sold her and ordered a new one in normal skin. But Fairyland has changed the standard face up over the years, so the one I got looked different and I just couldn't bond with her. I regret selling the first one! I hope to find a second hand one that I love as much as her. (Second hand because then I can see the actual face up before buying)

I fell in love with her too and found a great price on one at the Resin Cafe bboard. She had a horrible faceup so I had darling SetsunaKou fix her up for me and I love her now. I don't have her out to play with as much as I wish tho. Here she is being all Lolita.

Our guv announced that we will be receiving the biggest Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend ever, partly to help people with their outrageous utility bills, so the DH has told me that I can have some for a new doll. I'm torn between a Ruby Red Fashion Friends which I think are so cute or a new Smart Doll. I've wanted a Dimension or a boy doll. I think the boy Smartie is not likely as they sell for way too much when they do show up anywhere, but if they get her back in stock at the right time, it seems likely I would go for the Dimension. I just think she's so pretty!

I had some Equestria Girls dolls, and I really liked them, but I let them go in January, and I regret so much of that, so I'm gonna not only rebuy the ones I had, I'm gonna go for a complete set, even Sunset Shimmer. I know I dislike the fact that they don't have articulated knees, but 99% of the time, my dolls are standing up straight anyway.

The new 11" versions (with the bigger heads) or the original 9" versions? The originals I believe had some lines which were fully articulated.

I was going to go with the 11 inch versions, I they're what I had before and I find them much more visually appealing. But now that you mentioned it, I'm considering piecing together an older set now too. I didn't like the original dolls when they first came out, so I didn't buy any... Except a sleepover Pinkie Pie I have somewhere...

Since I've given up on getting another SmartDoll and still have a few doll dollars left, I am on the hunt for a 17" MSD sized Asian male doll to wear that beautiful hanfu I have tucked away. I have made offers on a couple of Tonner Yoshio on ebay, but no takers. (So overpriced!) I'm in the process of cruising thru sites, looking for a doll that appeals to me but isn't an arm and a leg. My problem is that most of the ones that look like a grownup are 1/3 not 1/4 sized. I don't want a boy or young teen. I think he needs to look older. ResinSoul has one maybe, but I'm not sure I really like his face all that much. Anyone have any suggestions? Vinyl is preferable. Has to be a leaner male body. My Iplehouse FID couldn't fit into it, but he has a more muscular body. And in any case, Iplehouse would be out of my range. I'm trying to keep it to under $200.

I can think of a few bjd companies that have mature MSD males but I don’t think any of them are under $200.

Edit: oh wait, Asian sculpts. That narrows it down a little. Still too pricey though.

Yeah, I feel you! 1/4 males are hard to find in 'adult' proportions/look.
