Reminds me of those Tech Deck finger skateboards that were so popular in late 80s/early 90s. They didn’t really do much, you just decorated them and could switch out wheels and such, kind of like on a real skateboard. My brothers had a ton of ‘em. I think there was a skateboard shop that sold them that my parents would take them to. They definitely didn’t come with Ken shoes. They we’re probably a lot better quality, too, since they were supposed to emulate the real thing.

Anyhoo, my latest buy is the bigger Walmart in my city finally got MH Toralei in so I ordered one of three that are supposedly in stock, and added the only RH costume ball girl they offered, the spider queen. She’s quite pretty. I’ll do curbside pickup for them after work since the store is close by. Now I’m just after the vampire and the fairy. Maybe the one in the cat headband, too. I like her eyes.

Found a shelf to match the set of 2 shelves I bought a few years ago so now I can spread out my RH dolls a bit. I still have Harper down on the table to work on her hair and next week, I'll be getting an Eliza McFee in her fairy costume.

I also picked up a 14" Glitter Girls doll. I've been buying the GG outfits for my Hearts dolls. The new girl is on the right and my Hearts doll, Dell is on the left. The glitter shed from the boots/shoes is terrible tho. Thankfully, not so much with the clothes.

And then this fell into my cart at Walmart. I've no idea how it got there. (Looks innocent ) I still have a few of the originals packed away somewhere.

The two dolls (Toralei and spider queen) ended up getting canceled on my order like half an hour before I was supposed to pick them up. “Sold out” it said. Never mind that I’d PAID already and those dolls should’ve been mine!

Walmart needs to get their act together when it comes to dealing with online orders.

Also, I need shelves like that. I am fast running out of room in my cabinets.

I hate to say it, but I got them from Walmart online. I bought the set of two at least 2 years ago and they never showed up again til recently in a single shelf package. They are pretty nice and fairly sturdy.

We have all the costume dolls instore now, but only Cleo and Frankie in the MH. And I'm P.O.'d that the Walmart exclusive redhead Holiday Barbie hasn't shown up at all. Plus I missed the Barbie Tina Turner doll completely.

The Ikea big square Kallax, and there's another name with an M, that people store records in will fit many 1/6 dolls. I can't say if it'll fit boxed ones. They're what I have for my books and eventually dolls. Didn't buy any of them new. Just watch the measurements with cube shelves because the ones that take cloth bins are much smaller.

I wish they still made the dollhouse I have, it fits boxed 1/6 dolls. The last place I saw anything like it was Fingerhut.

Give it a while. The guy who was stocking the toy department and helped me find the Eliza doll said that they were holding things back for the black Friday sales. He said he hadn't seen her yet, but he was hoping she'd show up in those special shipments for that weekend. He didn't have much yet and he said they were getting nervous because they usually have a lot more BFri stuff in the back by this time, but they have not been getting as much in shipments this year.

Worse comes to worse, the redhead Looks doll is still around at retail and you could get any Holiday doll and substitute the Looks one by relaxing her hair.

Finally managed to snag Toralei by ordering online at Walmart again, only this time when I was inevitably told she’d sold out, I was offered an option to have her shipped to me for free. So she’ll be arriving by Wednesday. I wonder why I didn’t get that option the first time? Maybe because this time I had them deliver from the store to my house instead of me picking up. So there was an extra delivery charge for that, but if it saved me from having to run to Ghetto Mart on a Friday night, I’ll take it!

Also snagged the Shadow High costume ball vampire girl. She’s pretty, but her bangs are a mess. I’ll have to flatten them down somehow once I get around to unboxing her. Also not sure that she comes with a stand. RH is really jacking up their prices. Almost $40 for a doll with no extra clothes, no stand or comb (not that I need anymore doll combs).
