Prepping a doll for a reroot so she's ready to go when I finally get the money to buy some doll hair. I'm making a second Reneeah because, while I like the red lips, I don't want her to have red lips all the time, and I am NOT going to strip and repaint her lips every single time I want to swap between them.

On Sunday, I was super productive, and cut out some new pieces for Emi. Haven't sewn them yet. Also, I spent 5 hours today writing a fluff fanfic.

Current big, time consuming project: I'm currently going through all of my custom/OC dolls, searching figuring out what head sculpt the have, the doll it came from, logging any changes I've made to them, what body they have, and what skin tone (if possible). It's . . . A long process. I plan to eventually make a thread with all this information with photos once I've finished. I'm hoping I'll have it done by Christmas. @-@ The photo part is going to be the rough part, because it takes so long for the photos fr my camera to upload.

I started out experimenting with a yarn reroot, which ended up progressing so that it took up most of the last ten hours.

We began with the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" as my friend dubbed it.

Followed up by the "anime protagonist" phase, also know as the "Bozo the Clown" phase.

And finally, I ended up with this. His bangs are still being as much of a brat as his character usually is, but say hello to Leon, everybody.

Thank you! Would you believe it's my first time rerooting a doll with yarn?

I need to take the next step from rerooting to wig making. Maybe I can find a yarn that'll make a Ziggy Stardust wig for the 70cm twins.

Look for the thread they do punch embroidery with. I used some metallic and it looked like braids.
