I've been working on getting my hands on the African American version of the Oreo School Time Fun Barbie. She was recalled because of the term "Oreo" being used as a slur against black people. I don't want her because "Ooh, controversy!" I want her because she's one of the most beautiful dolls Mattel ever made, in my opinion. I think I've finally nailed down a good auction. She's out of the box, which makes her less desirable to most collectors. As a perpetual deboxer, it's fine with me.

I've been suffering from a situation of T-posing dolls. Like, the last 10 dolls I've bought have had 5 point articulation. I love the characters that these dolls represent, but the articulation snob in me has been losing her shit, especially when taking pictures of these dolls.

Luckily for me, we're getting a nice tax refund this year, so my husband suggested we take a little mad money to play with instead of putting it all in savings. I could not agree fast enough! I rampaged through the listings on Ebay and found a body with deluxe articulation for each Equestria Girls doll. I had to order from a couple other countries, but soon all of them will have 9 point articulation, which is MUCH better.

Pinkie Pie, I already have an articulated body that I've held onto for over a decade now. Thank goodness for that. Twilight Sparkle was the easiest one to track down. Fluttershy and Applejack have paint on their arms, so I'm hoping I can remove it with acetone when they get here. Rarity is an expensive girl, which is frustrating, but I know I'll be so happy in the end. Rainbow Dash was surprisingly hard to find an articulated body with normal legs. The hardest one to find was Sunset Shimmer. She's coming all the way from England! The only character I want that I didn't buy yet is Flash Sentry. Fortunately, all Flash Sentries come with 9 point articulation, so it doesn't matter which one I get.

Congrats! She's got a darling face! Shoes are the worst to find as she has odd sized feet, but they are out there. Etsy and ebay are my first go to's. And Alices'.

I have a friend who says that Volks USA has $9.00 plastic or vinyl pumps that fix with a little blow dryer heating.

Just ordered the curly blond Creatable World doll, they're on sale online, with the realization it'll make a good Adrien/Chat Noir to the black haired one I've had for awhile being Marinette/Adrien. All they'd need is costumes.

I looked at the assortment of MtM petite but I'm just going to wait until I can get the skin tone I want to match the rest of the nostalgic tone quad squad. Haven't even opened the Lance Bass I ordered last time.

Put the first layaway payment down on Fairyland's F65 Rozen fullest. Mostly because I really wanted his outfit for one of my other boys. Only three more to go! Hopefully by the time he ships to DDE I'll have him paid off.

My Smart Doll Fortitude arrived! (Now if this stupid sinus headache would go away so I could actually enjoy her arrival....) My intention is for her to be my main Second Life (and old Star Wars Galaxy secondary) character. She's so lovely! Please excuse the rumpled Fer.... it looks like I'm going to be ironing a bunch of doll clothes after the move. :P

She's adorable! Can't wait to see how you dress her up! (And sending healing vibes in your direction.)
