I would like to see plenty of pictures when she comes in.

I'm gonna start collecting original Equestria Girls dolls, just one for each character. For reasons. I might not make clothes for them, but keep them... just because.

They're strangely adorable little things. Totally not a shape of doll I usually care for, but Rarity and the Target exclusive Pinkie Pie with the black hair streak have been with me for quite some time. Rarity came to me second hand, without any dress, or any shoes that actually match her (they're both the ones with peg legs), but she's stayed longer than dolls of other sorts that I'd gotten complete.
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

Tax season should bring with it not only the opportunity to buy some of the supplies I needed for some big pieces for backdrops and furniture, but also the promise of nicer weather soon to come. (My workshop has no heat, and it's easier to cool than to heat, so winter makes it difficult to coordinate time off with temperatures above 60°.) I also have plans for more reroots that I've been planning for a long time.

OMG now that I have some original Equestria Girls dolls, I want them so much more! I wasn't impressed with them at all when they first came out, but now that I've had some in my hands, I really see the attention to detail that they had. I have Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash at home. Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie are on their way, and I still need to find a decent Rarity and Sunset Shimmer.

I'm thinking more and more about adding a big girl to my collection, like an Obistu 60cm sized girl. I also think it's time to dig the big boys out of storage for the first time in 7+ years and see how they're fairing. I'm not super concerned about the fair skinned Iplehouse boy, but I have a darker skinned boy (who I have since learned is a recast) that I'm not sure how he's probably faired. He hasn't seen the light of day in over half a decade, but you never know.

Big Obitsus are great. Sewing comes easier in a way. You'll have lots of wig and eye options.

Good luck finding a 60 cm Obitsu. They are currently made of unobtanium. You might find a used one, if you are lucky.

Dollfie Dreams are a good alternative to Obitsu. They have really nice bodies and option parts, and a few base sculpts to choose from on the Volks USA store. I think the base sculpts are pretty reasonably priced, too. Although not sure if they’re more expensive than Obitsu or not.

Forgot big Obitsus aren't made any more. I also have a mini Dollfie Dream and she's nice. Got her used and she doesn't show her estimated age ca 2011-2012.

Unless you don't want a resin I'd say do some price comparisons, a basic blank resin or a used off the DOA marketplace might cost the same or less than some of the Volks DDs.
