The Dollieh Waiting Room

My husband got an early Christmas president, also - a new car...... We took both of our cars in for maintenance, mine was just at the 1 year mark and his was getting close to his warranty expiring. We sat in the waiting room for about 20 minutes and then decided to meander through the sales lot. Oh, boy. Now my husband owns a brand new Elantra Hybrid (in that never-lose-in-a-parking-lot blue that he loves) and has all the warranties (he travels for work so that's important anyway). No more new things for the foreseeable future!

Well, except for the Lodge set I bought him weeks ago. And the Ninja Pro that was too good a deal to pass up.

Not a doll, but something FOR the dolls: I finally broke down and ordered the Witch's House set from Rement. Shailoh demands all the little magical bits for his wizard's hut, and I plan to eventually use the pieces of furniture that are too small for the dolls as a model to make bigger versions that actually work with 1:6 scale.

I peeked in on my Christmas presents, my aunt sent me a Disney Megara doll! I'm so glad, because my sister, whom I usually count on to give me dolls, sent me a BOOK! I mean, I love books, but she's my fellow doll ally! I sent her a doll! Madness. loljk

I ordered the perfect Ever After High Apple White doll off of Ebay! She's a g2 head on a first chapter body, which is so perfect for me! I really loved the smiling sculpts from g2, and she still has a fully articulated body! She's missing her fishnets, but fishnets on dolls are a pain in the butt anyway.
