Elsa Finale Custom 65cm BJD (and Hans 69cm)

After more than a year put on hold (I bought all her gems, materials and parts back in Oct/Nov 2022), my sister and I FINALLY had a chance to work on this poor Elsa BJD!!!! :laughs:

She has a Bobobie Pandora head on a 65cm body. It's been so long that I've forgotten which brand it is! Ugh!!

We finished her on Jan 1, 2024 and took these photos outdoors. Hans was so happy to finally reunite with his Queen.

It was a LOT easier to work in the 1/3 scale rather than 1/6 or 1/8, but the amount of fabric needed made me keep switching gears! I didn't have enough shimmer velvet for her gown so that threw me for a loop. Happily, my sister bought some AB METALLIC spandex which I was doubtful of, but I used it and it looks great! The AB really works here.
Thank you for loving it! The skirt part was a challenge to have it sheer on the bottom, but with opaque 'fractals' on the outside and lining! Had to think 'out of the box' for this one for sure!
