Elsa Finale Custom 65cm BJD (and Hans 69cm)

Postby SetsunaKou » Sat Jan 13, 2024 6:19 pm

After more than a year put on hold (I bought all her gems, materials and parts back in Oct/Nov 2022), my sister and I FINALLY had a chance to work on this poor Elsa BJD!!!! :laughs:

She has a Bobobie Pandora head on a 65cm body. It's been so long that I've forgotten which brand it is! Ugh!!

We finished her on Jan 1, 2024 and took these photos outdoors. :) Hans was so happy to finally reunite with his Queen. :)

I bet that working at 60cm scale was a lot easier than working at fashion doll scale!

As always, it's perfection!

Awww, thank you always for everything, VV-sama! hugs

It was a LOT easier to work in the 1/3 scale rather than 1/6 or 1/8, but the amount of fabric needed made me keep switching gears! I didn't have enough shimmer velvet for her gown so that threw me for a loop. Happily, my sister bought some AB METALLIC spandex which I was doubtful of, but I used it and it looks great! The AB really works here.
Thank you for loving it! The skirt part was a challenge to have it sheer on the bottom, but with opaque 'fractals' on the outside and lining! Had to think 'out of the box' for this one for sure! :D
