"Bohdan!"

Image
Bohdan stopped and turned.

Image
"Morning Kirscha. Did you sleep well? Hope I didn't wake you, but I just wanted to get a head start on these windows."
"No you didn't wake me, but you certainly gave me a fright. You're not wearing a safety harness and it's a very long way down were you to slip."
"Fret not. I can be down in an instant." And then he was.
"Oh! I need to get used to your ways." He chuckled.

Image
He then showed her the damage that needed repair on the window sill.

Image
Kirscha inspected it, grateful for his knowledge.

Image
He explained about the materials that were needed while she listened with great interest.

Image
They discussed the damaged lintel and missing front door.

Image
"So you think it would be better to replace it all after removing the outer and inner frames?"
"Yes, as it would make for a much better finish and perfect fit." He wanted to do a good job and keep his reputation for excellent workmanship.
"Then that is what will be done. I have complete faith in you, Bohdan."
"Thank you, Kirscha."

As they were finishing the smell of breakfast wafted on the air.
Image
BonBon was busy in the kitchen.

Image
"That smells good, BonBon."

Image
"It looks delicious." Said Kirscha, her mouth watering at the sight of it.

Image
"I hope you will enjoy it and there's more should you be left with a hole to fill." BonBon giggled. She couldn't imagine this would be enough to fill a gnat, but then seeing the size of Kirscha, perhaps it would.

Image
"Eat up and enjoy."

"Are you not joining us?" asked Kirscha.

"Oh not me, I've a feast to make for the other hungry elves and then elevenses, lunch, afternoon tea, then tea for the kiddies, supper, and finally midnight snacks. So I'm much too busy to stop, but I'll grab something in between."

"Between!" Kirscha couldn't imagine all that food and felt full thinking about it, but she smiled graciously and nibbled at her breakfast. After a bite or two, she realised just how hungry she was and finished every scrap.

"I'll be off then and see you at supper, for I've left your lunch and snacks in the fridge. A woman's work is never done." BonBon waved good bye and left them to enjoy their breakfast.

Image
After lunch Bohdan went back to work.

Image
Kirscha retired to the lounge to continue her search for the perfect wallpaper and flooring.

Image
Much later there is a tap tap on her door.

Image
Bohdan waits for her to respond.

Image
"Hello Bohdan. Is it lunch time already? I completely lost track of time."

Image
"I wasn't thinking of lunch, but rather I wanted to check the height for the door handles. This looks good from here, is it right for you?"

Image
"That is ideal for me, thank you. I will get our lunch, if you are ready, but I doubt I could eat all the meals BonBon prepares."
Bohdan chuckled. "She's a fine cook, but even I can't eat all that she makes, but I will certainly polish off a fair few of her pies."

They did have a delightful lunch and both returned to their respective tasks.

So cute! What is Kirscha? Is she from Charles Creature Cabinet (I think that's what it's called)

Thanks Maywong, I love her too.
Thanks DarkAngel. Not CCC, but from Dream High Studio. She's Mimi the Fire Fairy Maiden, in LE tan. Donny is an incredibly gifted artist. He's even invented a resin that doesn't break especially for his tinies as the resin is so thin in parts to create the joints. Truly amazing work.
