That, is hilarious! If only goggles day was as amazing, but alas I don't have a catchy song. XD

As I'm getting closer to swapping out Aurym's sculpt for a different one, I'm also dreading putting the older parts up for sale. And now there's this little voice telling me that it'd be okay if I don't sell the older sculpt. That I should turn him into Claude from Kuroshitsuji...

*head desk* Of course, that would require me to learn how to sew a tailcoat... I really can't win, can I? =_=

I need to look into a dehydrator or a better non-reactive glue for my goggles. With the crummy weather we've had it's taking days to dry rather than hours. It puts a real cramp on trying to get sets done in a timely matter.

I'm going to vent about frikkin' DoA.

Clueless little Nazis are monitoring the over 55 and over 35 owner threads and handing down snippy little "reminders" that it's not a thread for chatting about ANYTHING but dolls.

And I KNOW why. God forbid that ANYONE should own a BJD who is not under 25, yaoi- and anime-obsessed, and who actually has a real job and real life.

I am sooooo tempted to sic 4Chan on them.....but that would spoil it for the nice people and the non-Nazis.

Either do it or send the good people over here. I've curtailed my DOA. It's a fun place to do math, am I 2 or 3 times the age of said poster? Factor in weight and self esteem issues, arrive at a general assumption that doll meetings have proven mostly true. For every pound of owner weight subtracted add one pound of obsessiveness and other things that could prove irritating if not attended to. I do think there is something going on where you pay a base price for your doll, such as $100 and then add $1 per pound of your own weight to arrive at your final price.

I arrived at the weight-doll price formula when I priced what I've spent on my "best doll" Xavier and where my weight stabilized after a massive drop.

Nah, the weight/ price thing wouldn't work with me. I like dolls from a wide range of styles and therefore prices. We just had a big meetup at Ohayocon and there was a great assortment of doll and owner types :-)
