First Obitsu head Milla! + random anime obitsu girl

Hey guys! I just got and painted my first obitsu heads this week. I have an anime volks 1/6 head that i rooted and painted before but I never finished her. The redhead is Milla and I don't have a name for the green haired girl. I love Milla and I wish I could keep her but I painted her to sell so hopefully she'll go to a good home. I want to get into doing commissions. Do you guys think ppl would want me to paint their 1/6 heads?





Ah the images are kinda bad because I don't have a tripod yet.....Or any good clothes. I will make some soon though.

Really excellent work. It's been a long time since I've seen anyone new doing 1/6 scale painting! I'm sure there are folks out there who would love to have you do work for them

Thanks all of you! I was able to get better pics of milla and I will start a thread in the sell your skills section. I have a bunch of heads planned that I want to do but I am also dying to have some input and ideas from other ppl. I'm interested in trying to get the right expression and personality of the character.

Looking at other ppl's prices let me know if you think $35-40 for 1/6 anime head and $50 for realistic 1/6 head is a fair deal. I just recently got in to this hobby though I have been sculpting miniatures and figurines on and off since I was 15. As such I don't really know the usual price point.

Hey guys, so I will start a commission thread and offer a discounted rate for the first 10 customers. I have ordered some more heads for myself and will be ordering some 25cm bodies as well as more 27cm bodies. I'm excited to do some more heads. I know for certain that when I get the new heads I will want to do an East Asian girl and a pale elf girl. I wish Obitsu had tan dolls. I know Volks does but I don't particularly like the sculpt of their realistic head though I like their anime head more than Obitsu's. Here is a sneak peek at Lilly next to Meryl.

Yah I know it is a fairly high price. However since I will be spending over an hour on a head I can't see charging $7.50 as being fair to me. SetsunaKou has nice work and I don't know how fast she works. I'm glad she can afford to do commissions at those prices because a lot of ppl can't afford good face ups otherwise. I think if I were just doing a very plain no shading face up I would still charge $20.
