I'm going to vent about frikkin' DoA.

Clueless little Nazis are monitoring the over 55 and over 35 owner threads and handing down snippy little "reminders" that it's not a thread for chatting about ANYTHING but dolls.

And I KNOW why. God forbid that ANYONE should own a BJD who is not under 25, yaoi- and anime-obsessed, and who actually has a real job and real life.

I am sooooo tempted to sic 4Chan on them.....but that would spoil it for the nice people and the non-Nazis.

I just had a post deleted from a doll room/environment thread over there for the comment "Isn't it amazing the way dolls change our view of the world?..." and another post moved to a thread that is only viewed once a month at the most. I figure the Mods are snowed in and must be bored out of their teeny tiny minds.

Misty, I don't even have those 2 threads on my sub list anymore. I got tired of the mods and - worse - the wannabe mods. The only threads I sub anymore that aren't sales/commission or tutoring related are the Minifee thread and my local meeting group one. The rest of them can bite me - only I bite back!

Kirahfaye, that's all I go to DoA for now as well. It's a pity - DoA really helped me when I was getting into the hobby, but my tolerance for drama is so low I just don't feel a need to wade into the trenches there. I have my own teenage angst at home.

I do get irritated by all of the bull over on DoA all the time... I really try to avoid any of the threads that aren't related to dolls I own in particular. If I do post in the General Discussion or the Debate area, I post whatever it is I have to say and then leave so I don't have to deal with whatever goes on afterward.
I get so tired of the biases towards certain companies... and how some dolls get ruled OT for silly reasons or doll artists get crazy harassed while the mods that make their own dolls seem to have little problems with said issues. I hate double standards, elitists... and really just all the drama...

I'd love to just for once be able to post my real opinion without worrying about being banned or something. :/
I have a low threshold for stupidity... it gets really difficult at times.

There is some serious over moderation over there.. It's like an autoimmune disease.

I saw the banned doll lists and I don't even get WHY they do that. I understand 'off topic' okay that's still not a reason to be total jerks but still...Why ban a Dollzone Lynn and then delete anyone's accounts if they even ask about it?
