I can't believe they are going to make a doll that big! It will likely be ridiculously expensive if the price of the 60cm Obitsu vs the 1/6 ones are any indication.

I have to say, it looks very striking. I have this odd fascination with obtaining a doll of this size, I hope she won't cost my eternal soul >_> Think Emory will stock her? XD

Probably not. I understand he had a hard time getting rid of the 90 cm boys he got.

Maybe because they're boys :/ and resin. I know the 70cm I have get heavy. A life size girl doll with squishy boobs will sell.

For those of us on dialup, could someone please elaborate on what is in those links? I think I would LOVE to have an 150cm obitsu. WHen I was in Japan I saw a Jenny doll display model that size. I suspect it's a showpiece.

I just didn't see a good photo of the new 150's are there any really yet?
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Okay Dial-uppers, here are some smaller pictures, the originals are huge.
The link is to some pictures taken at the current Winter Wonderfest show in Japan. The two pictures being discussed are of the cute little Obitsu 11cm

and the "Oh my gawd, no they didn't" Obitsu 150.

150 centimeters... That's just a hair over 4'-11" tall!

At the risk of repeating myself....

That 150 cm doll, 10-13 year old lifesized girl, really makes me feel very uneasy. As in, pedobait uneasy.

If the price isn't too high, I might buy one for my mom just so she'd stop trying to put me clothes I'd never wear. Then again, considering that it didn't work out as planned when I got her Miss 599, she'd still do it anyway. XD
