My friend LeeAnn graciously showed Jake the ropes here at the library. Jake has decided that work is *hard*.

Nice. I love the 'no cell phones' sign. I don't think Jake likes to be disturbed.

I envy you. Where I work - corporate America - bringing a doll to work would be a problem for me. First as a male collector, it's already bad enough, when someone learns I collect dolls they start making assumptions about my orientation, or state of mind - or whatever. Of course there is the whole Otaku stigma of being a perv (in the minds of small minded people) because I collect Japanese vinyl BJDs with big boobs, and anime style. I seriously can't be bothered explaining to everyone again and again, nor should I have to. So instead, I leave my ladies at home even when I would love to bring one to work and sit her on the top of my PC observing my daily routine. then again if I did bring a doll to work like that, my wife would wonder why she doesn't get to do that - come to work with me, sit on my desk and watch me all day....LOL!

I like my dolliehs a lot.
Actually, I like my dolliehs more than I like a lot of people I know in real life.
Is that bad? I think not!

I took my Samurai to work with me, and I took him to church, too. He was very popular, but then everybody knows I'm weird. I mean colorful.
The lady who sits next to me at work has a pink pig with a gun who also holds various political slogans.
Lighten up, corporate America.

It still shocks me that there are people at work who DON'T know about my dolls LOL. I bring them in, I make displays of them on the desk, I keep all my Pullip girls there. Heck the folks who do the mail await those packages more eagerly than I do!

I had my new pullip swan in my purse if that counted? >.>
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Don't worry, K2. I only let Jake dash off a few messages unsupervised. Um, yeah. Crap. Watch out. XD

I'm lucky that even though I work at the library in a law school it's not a very stiff, formal environment. Most people get a kick out of my special brand of crazy. And if they don't they're too afraid to tell me.

Ditto that here. Everybody seems to love it when I get a box in. Especially from Emory because it's like opening a Christmas stocking. :p
