Funny that you would mention that. I did buy a very fine quill thinking that I might be able to use it doing face ups. Has anyone used one of these for a face up?

He looks great! I like that sculpt. It has a lot of character, and it looks a bit Native American. Which doll is it?

Really? That works nicely. I think your faceup is better than the Mattel one for sure - I didn't recognize the head!
