Mr Wishbooklet

Postby DollyKim » Tue Feb 01, 2011 4:56 pm

Haven't done anything with the two Wishbooklets I have, until today, and I ordered a couple for the FIrst Ladies and one for kids. He'll get clothes sooner or later. Thinking about doing some more needle sculpting, fingers, toes, tushie. He's about 13" tall so I'm curious how well his stuff fits my Orientdoll.

Well, he's dressed, and he's squishy.

Sometimes I think a new rag doll pattern is like making pancakes. Will make another one of these fellows again later. It's a nice huggable size.

He's meant to have an Inverness Cloak but there isn't proper scale or color fabric to be found at the moment.

ImageVest with tiny buttons by richila9098, on Flickr

I forgot to post the picture earlier of the vest and pants. I still have the buttons to do on the shirt and the jacket is giving me fits.

Try eBay and look for woolies flannel. It's cotton flannel with really small houndstooth, herringbone and plaid prints, and it looks like wool, being flannel. It's a nice doll scale and not heavy.
