Daisy Dayes Centaur!

Daisy Dayes is offering a pre-order for her new 17cm centaur, Elise, via JPops. I don't know if she opted to use BBB for the doll parts, although the "look" seems right.

Yea, I saw her. I keep getting tempted by centaurs, but honestly, I'm not in love with that face :(

Yeah, the face is a bit too . . . . stylized, I guess, for me, also. I haven't looked at a lot of centaurs so I don't know if her price is good or not, but don't most of them come with human parts, also?

I know the Domadoll ones, which are about the same size, come with human parts definitely. I like her legs better than theirs, but I still dream of a Domadoll LOL. Pricy though - about $500 but I think they may be a bit bigger than hers.

I'm pretty sure that soom came with human parts too. I don't know the price...I'm sure something unrealistic! xD

...Okay looked it up! The original price was $699 for both the unicenta and pyrol human.

When bobobie casts dolls do they tone down the detail? They just look strange I guess... I know that the DD hooves had a ton of detail in them, but this centaur lady doesn't.

I saw a Doma one IRL. I was really really tempted to save up for one, really cute and sweet with their sassy smiles.. This one is okay, I like the articulation, but that face turns me off too.

Just makes me more tempted to figure out how to engineer my next Roger now.

I do think that Centaurs are pretty neat. I totally fell in love with them after watching Fantasia. I was excited to see them in doll form. :)
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

oh, she's quite cute, but I can't quite stomach the price (I'll have to try making a centar as one of my next BJD projects)

Oh yea, I forgot about the Souldoll and Soom centaurs - but yes, all of those have come with human parts too.

As far as I've seen Bobobie casts based on whatever is given them. I think Tinybear uses them (please correct me if I am wrong) and teh details on hers are great. In this case I think the facial details are simply the sculpt itself :(
