Don't let the people in town get you down... the people where I live don't like dolls, either. The people who actually go as far as to badger and insult peoples' dolls usually suffer from a psychological condition called pediophobia--- or "fear of dolls." Like claustrophobia, fear of clowns, and fear of spiders, it's largely irrational but surprisingly commonplace. Still, people with this problem can't help themselves, and are reluctant to admit it... so they let out their fear through anger. Seriously, some people can't help themselves.
