experimental elf!

Postby quidam » Tue Apr 19, 2011 4:44 pm

My new girl arrived, and I must say that she looks a bit concerned about the "experimental" title she has. The eyes will probably stay, but the wig is temporary until I find her personality. Hopefully I do a good enough job that she doesn't stay worried forever!

She's temporarily named Lan until she decides who she wants to be.

She's lovely. And she does look a little shy/unsure. Beautiful face.

Awe so cute! Love that wig on her tho! <3
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Ask and you shall receive! Here she is in another wig that shows off her ears a bit more.
I'm hoping to be able to start working on her this week.

(I'm also hoping to get back my camera soon so picture quality can be a bit higher. *sigh*)

Hey, now, no restarting my fear of dolls!

I can say one thing for certain: she doesn't share.

"Lan" is almost finished with her new look! I'm hoping to have her finished up and restrung by the end of the weekend. I wish there was more time to work on her during the week. Stupid job gets in the way of all my fun!

I thought that I'd put up a progress photo. So far I'm pleased. Her face is the only thing that is complete, but I'm waiting until her eyes are back in and her hair is on before I show that! (It's amazing what a difference hair and eyes make!)
