Also check out Pullipstyle.com. It is more than you'd asked for in budget, but keep an open mind and check it out. There's some lovely dolls and you might find one you really feel is worth saving up for.

I've actually been looking at Pullips for a while. I'm still not sure what I think about their oversized heads. If I get anything, it'll probably be Lunatic Queen (and maybe Lunatic White Rabbit). Alice in Wonderland is a weakness of mine. I've actually done a split with someone and got the Neo Noir stock... but it's too tiny for the Livs and too big for Monster High. And of course the mask is too large for everyone, but I expected that. :/ Maybe I'll need to get Lunatic Queen just to have someone who can wear the Neo Noir stock...

The oversized head on Pullip has always bugged me even though her face is gorgeous... that's why I bought two Little Pullips and I'm putting their heads on 21/23cm Obitsu bodies once they get to me. Got inspired by people on Flickr who did this, the result is amazing :)

The Alice is my absolute favourite too, she inspired me to do this :)

I myself ordered a Little Pullip Donkey and Seine and a 21cm and a 23cm Obitsu. Hope to have them soon, so I can show you pictures. But all in all it'll cost you more than $30 I'm afraid. IF you're gonna do this, make sure you buy a Little Pullip from 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011, because they're easier to put on an Obitsu and they're prettier (they look more like the big Pullips than the older Little Pullips).

For an overview:

Little Pullips 2011 aren't shown yet. Seine for example is from 2011.
In general, the cheaper dolls on eBay are older.

-edit- This is a nice link, they only have a few but they're the newer ones and they're rather cheap (compared to Amazon and eBay prices):

How did I miss the Hybrid group?! I actually got my Swan off amazon for only $15 with free shipping.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

You didn;t miss the Hybrid group, I invited lots of pictures of Violet about a week ago and I'm pretty sure you then added them :P
By the way, Swan is an older model, that's why she was cheaper I guess?

Oh no wonder why I couldn't add photos, because they were already in the group! >.<; I wasn't in the group tho, how stupid of me to miss that part. I'm guessing she was a much older model so she was way cheaper.
