Moar ponies?

So I know KD has some of the FIM ones... anyone else on here into MLP? Of any generation? I've got mostly the 80s/early 90s ones since thats what I had as a kid, but got some from just about every gen now. If you got em, post some piccies!

I used to have so many of those things! Probably more Ponies than Barbies. lol Unfortunately, most of them have ended up at goodwill or yard sales or to my little sisters, so who knows where they are now.

The only one I have left (don't have a picture of it) is a shimmery white baby unicorn with dark pink hair. She was a "special limited" that could only be bought by fan club members.

Yes, I was a member of the fan club. XD

Oh, but I did see this in Kmart once, and couldn't resist. Uber-sized pony! Can we say perfect tiny-sized mount?

I used to have a huge collection when I was a kid. They were my most requested birthday/X-mas present. Ponies ponies everywhere!

Sadly, most of them found new homes when I was older. I still have a couple of my favorites floating about. Perhaps they will get photographed tonight when I get home.

It's old school all the way, though. I'm not too fond of the newer ponies. The clunky, chunky ones are the only ponies that need to be! It would be wonderful if they were to release a set of the originals.....

I agree! Old school all the way! These new "anorexic" Ponies just don't cut it for me. XD That's why I love my big girl up there. She's clunky and chunky just like the old Ponies.

I missed the part that the one you pictures was contemporary. Perhaps I'll start swinging by the toy aisles more often to see if I can snag a chubby pony for myself! Do you know if she is a re-release? I vaguely remember there being ponies with jeweled heads before....

Nope, she's twice the size of a normal pony (that's a 26cm Bambicrony riding her). I don't remember there being one that size back in the 80s, so I'm pretty sure she's a new release (new, as in I bought her three or four years ago). Actually, the jewel is a sticker I just stuck on there. lol Same with the flowers under her eye and her "bracelet" around her leg. She came with decorations, so I decorated her. XD She had a bunch of hair clips, too.

I'm sure they're still around if you check Ebay or toy stores. There were two or three models to choose from. I'd wanted to go back and get the unicorn, but I never got there before they sold out (they were on clearance).

The big ponies are the styling ponies so maybe that'll aid you in searching for super sized ponies.

Personally, I love the g4 ones because of the strong characters and cutesy anime styled look to them. Though I'd personally would like to get my hands on a (non pink/purple) G1 pony and fix it up with a repaint and styling lol.

I also got a pink G3 unicorn with no hair or eyes yet because I'm planing on dying it red. Lol, wish me luck?

Oh, I that's what it was. I had one, but wasn't too fond of her. It's sort of like those dolls that are out now with the button eyes: it makes me wonder what happened to their eyes that they needed replaced. Was it a tragic accident? Did they fall into the hands of some evil person who stole their eyes out of spite? Why on earth did they jam diamonds into their eye sockets????

Perhaps my mind just doesn't go in the correct direction on this kind of thing....

Oh~! I loved My Little Pony when I was a kid. Well anything horse related I loved and still do. :)

I really enjoyed watching one of the My Little Pony VHS I had and for the life of me can't remember the name of it or anything to narrow it down.

I have some of the older ones, I think they are all 1990's, though their might be a few 1980's ones in there my cousins gave me. I'll see if I can't dig them out of storage (they are in the top part of my closet, and some are in storage area in the garage). It would be nice to try and identify them....
